Think of all the sights, sounds and smells of the Christmas season. It is the perfect time to earn your Brownie Senses badge!

Here are five great ideas for your troop to earn their Senses badge and celebrate the Christmas season.

Sense of Smell

Create “sniff” boxes or bags for your Brownies to guess the ingredients. Think of things like:

• cocoa
• peppermint
• vanilla
• cinnamon
• pine

Sense of Touch

Put cookie cutters into Christmas bags. Have each girl guess what shape of cookie cutter is in each bag.

Sense Of Hearing

Play a game with the girls. Start a Christmas song off a playlist and see how long it takes the girls to guess it.

Sense of Taste

Blindfold your Brownies and let them taste and guess the holiday flavors in a few Christmas cookies.

Sense of Sight

Take a Christmas decoration scavenger hunt, either outdoors or at your meeting place.
