Bridging to Adult Ceremony for Graduating Ambassador Girl Scouts

Welcome to our final event in our Girl Scout journey. After 13 years, we gather to celebrate the accomplishments of these exceptional young women and to honor their commitment to the values of the Girl Scout movement.

To begin, I invite everyone to stand and recite the Girl Scout Promise:

On my honor, I will try: To serve God and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

Congratulations, graduates! Today marks a special milestone in your Girl Scout journey. As you rank up to adult Girl Scouts, you join a community of empowered women who have dedicated themselves to making a positive impact in the world. Your commitment to the Girl Scout Promise and Law is an inspiration to us all.

[ Add information on your scouts’ accomplishments, favorite memories and what you value most about each girl.]

As you embark on this next phase of your Girl Scout journey, I encourage you to remember the lessons you have learned as Girl Scouts. Take the skills you have acquired through your experiences in the organization and apply them to your everyday lives. Use your voice to advocate for change, take action to improve your communities, and always strive to be your best self.

To signify your graduation and your new status as adult Girl Scouts, please come forward to receive your graduation certificates and your adult Girl Scout pins.

As you receive these symbols of your achievement, know that they represent not only your accomplishments, but also the limitless potential that lies ahead of you.

[Invite girls up one by one, and present the Bridging to Adult pins.]

Please wear your pins with pride, and let them serve as a reminder of your commitment to the Girl Scout movement.

In conclusion, I would like to congratulate each and every one of you on this important milestone. May you continue to grow in wisdom, courage, and character as you journey forward as adult Girl Scouts. Thank you for all that you have done and all that you will do to make the world a better place. Congratulations!
