Looking for a FREE way to earn your Cadette Digital Movie Maker badge? Check out this Microsoft Kids Camp:
Make Your Own Movie with 3D and Mixed Reality

By the end of the camp series, students will:
- Learn how to use Paint 3D, Mixed Reality Viewer, and the Photos app for creative projects.
- Complete a movie they can share with friends and family.
- Participate in their own movie premiere at the final camp session.
This four-part camp series lasts two hours per session, and campers must attend the sessions consecutively. The parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult caregiver of every Camp participant under 17 years of age must sign a Participation Agreement upon arrival and remain in Microsoft Store for the duration of the event.
No prior experience with the Microsoft applications is necessary.
The camp is free but registration is required. Go to the Microsoft site and click on your store to see upcoming dates.
Cub Scout parents: The Make Your Own Movie Camp also a way for your Webelos scout to work toward earning the Moviemaking scout elective pin.
Webelos scouts would still need to storyboard a real or imagined scouting adventure, and create a movie focused on how they live the Boy Scout law (if that wasn’t done in the context of the kids camp). Otherwise, the requirements for the Moviemaking pin, according to the updated requirements, would be complete.
Is there a chance of getting your program guide for the Digital Movie Maker Badge. I would love to sponsor such an event in Idaho.

I’m not sure how Microsoft does the camp, but the movie maker badge requirements are available through the Girl Scout shop.
