I’m very excited that the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry has started a new patch program honoring the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. The Catholic patch program was just released today. It celebrates the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to the young children of Fatima, Portugal.

Two of the children (Jacinto and Marco) were proclaimed as saints this year by Pope Francis.

The naming of these two saints and the 100th anniversary of the apparitions are perfect reasons to complete this patch program with your scouts. You can download a full set of requirements here.
