Some Girl Scout councils are fortunate enough to be in the line of the path of the Aug. 21 solar eclipse and have their scouts still be on summer vacation.
Unfortunately we don’t live in an area where we will see the full solar eclipse, but that doesn’t mean we can’t share in the excitement. I remember the chatter about Haley’s comet (Yes, I’m dating myself!) when I was a 6th grader.
Have Cub Scout or Boy Scout siblings? The Boy Scouts also have a patch program.
Nerdy enough to like the pressure sensitive #eclipse stamps. #solareclipse #science

If you’re viewing the eclipse, even a partial one, invest in eclipse glasses and save your eyes!!
Enjoy this time with your scouts! We won’t have another chance to view a full solar eclipse for seven years!

Hi! Where can I purchase the GS solar eclipse patch?
We bought ours through the council shop. I know girl scout Nationals store used to have it and there are other patch groups that sell one.
Can you send the exact website to purchase the badge?
Where’d you find that Girl Scout patch?
That particular one came from our girl scout council. I’ve heard that it had sold out at the gsusa site. But there are other eclipse patches out there for sale
