Indiana Hikes: Southeastway Park in Indianapolis

Indiana Hikes Southeastway Park Indianapolis.jpg

Tucked away off of Interstate 74 on the southeast side of Indianapolis,  Southeastway Park is a gem for hikers who want to get away without the long drive.

My family lives to wander the wooded trails in the park. While there are plenty of paved paths and picnic and play areas,  we prefer the rolling rustic trails in the 80 acres of woods instead.

Southeastway Park also has a number of programs for Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and homeschooling groups. Our personal favorites?  Maple syrup making and Bug Fest each August.
