As a Girl Scout leader for 12 years and a Cub Scout/Boy Scout volunteer for 11, I understand the challenges of developing age-appropriate, fun learning experiences and meeting ideas for our scouts. This site is designed to share ideas I’ve used myself in troop or summer camp settings, as well as share great ideas for scouting that I’ve learned in my research.

While I’m currently retired from my volunteer roles, I share ideas on this site to help other volunteers create memories with their scouts.

  1. Please note that the Chesapeake Bay Council now has a Miniatures Brownie Try-it in addition to the Junior and C/S/A badges. These badges have all been developed by the First State Mini Club, a Delaware organization. Your badge/patch list is wonderful. Thank you for posting it, and please try to correct the Miniatures listing if possible.
